The first Designs of the Time (Dott) Eco design challenge took place in North East England in 2007 and was a yearlong programme. Through community projects, events and exhibitions, was a way of seeing both what sustainability might really look like, and the part design plays in achieving it.
Dott Cornwall’s Eco design challenge will concentrate on schools, in particular on Year-8 pupils, and involve them in understanding not just the size of their school's carbon footprint, but in how design can reduce that.
